I’ve spent over 25 years in the software industry, starting from junior developer, up to Tech Lead and Architect, to Delivery Lead, Coach and Systems Analyst. I’m not proposing to work 5 days a week, supervising your team, who neither want nor need a supervisor! I’m not going to tell you what code needs to be written. I’m here to ensure that what you need gets made, correctly and first-time.
I specialise in discovering and identifying issues and inefficiencies in systems and processes, and proposing simple, effective solutions for these problems. I’ll come in, do some Discovery work with your team and their stakeholders, identify issues, propose some easy-to-implement solutions (potentially with some AI), help put the agreed solutions in place, then plan to “roll-off” once you and your team no longer need me. I’m happy to work with you part-time, perhaps one or 2 days a week, as much or as little as needed. In previous teams I’ve worked with, I’ve increased Dev team productivity by 60-80%, using simple techniques to remove impediments and structural blockers.
